George
The rooms at Montanes are cozy and comfortable. They have everything you need for a pleasant stay, like a wardrobe to keep your clothes organized and a flat-screen TV for entertainment. The private bathroom is a nice plus, and the bed linen and towels provided are clean and fresh.
Personally, I found the lack of vegetarian or vegan options in the restaurant menu a bit disappointing. However, I understand that others may find enjoyment in the traditional local cuisine offered at the guest house.

Friendly owners, though no English. Simple, tasty breakfast - cake, toast, coffee/juice. Convenient location near old town, bus stops, and cafes. Well-furnished rooms with charming details. Peaceful nights on comfy beds, waking up to nature's sounds and scents. Okay wi-fi, easy check-in, great parking.

The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, which was a huge plus. The location was also great, with easy access to the city center and nearby attractions. Another advantage was the friendly staff who were always willing to help.
Communication was a major issue as no English was spoken at all. This made it very difficult to get information or ask for assistance.

The hotel is conveniently located near the old town, making it easy to explore the charming streets and visit the nearby caves. The rooms are comfortable and furnished with lovely wooden fittings. The staff, despite the language barrier, are friendly and accommodating. The breakfast, although basic, is adequate and includes tasty options like cake/doughnut and toast with butter and jam.
The presence of a chicken coop near the entrance can sometimes create an unpleasant smell.

Excellent value for money, the room was beautifully furnished with delightful details that made the stay enjoyable. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the old town, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
The breakfast menu could be improved by addressing the issue of limited space in the breakfast room, as it sometimes led to a wait for seating.

Mind-blowing stay! SUPER friendly owners who went above and beyond to accommodate our every request, despite the language barrier. The breakfast was simple but delicious - the cake, toast with butter and jam, and coffee were jaw-droppingly good. The hotel's location was fantastic, close to the old town, bus stops, and plenty of cafes. The spotlessly clean rooms had beautifully polished wood floors and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The free parking and easy access to Wi-Fi were added bonuses. Highly recommended!

loved the location, near town center, easy parking, and great restaurants. Caves worth the visit. Very friendly staff & basic but sufficient breakfast included. Exceeded my expectations in every way.
Breakfast portion too small.

Comfortable hotel in a great location with friendly staff. I stayed in an attic room that was a bit warm, but I used a small USB fan I had with me. The bed squeaked a bit, but overall the room was decent. The roosters in the area start early, so be prepared! Despite the language barrier, the staff tried their best to be helpful. The breakfast was basic but sufficient. I would recommend this hotel.

Opening the windows in the morning brings in the refreshing scents and sounds of nature. The Wi-Fi is decent and check-in is a breeze. The owners, while not fluent in English, are incredibly accommodating. The location is great, close to the old town, bus stops, and plenty of cafes. And the rooms are immaculate with polished wood floors and comfy beds. Parking is easy, and there are many excellent restaurants nearby. Basic but tasty breakfast included.
I do recommend this hotel.
